Dies

What is a Die?
A Die is a device made of wood and steel rule (or blade) that is used in a press to "punch out" gaskets similar to a cookie cutter.  Dies must be made by hand to the customer's exact specifications.

Atlas Hose & Gasket has a Die maker on staff (Oscar Reyes) who hand makes custom dies from the customer's specs.

 With a dedicated Die Room full of state-of-the-art die making equipment....... 

....Oscar makes dies of all shapes and sizes.

These dies are then put on a press machine to punch out gaskets or whatever the customer needs to cut out. 

Dies are kept and organized to be used the next time the customer orders the same gaskets.                      Die storage room

Customers may purchase dies for their own use.
